The first of its kind in Washington State, this therapy-center-on-wheels enables us to bring specialized services right to the communities that need them. Equipped with heat and air conditioning, ample lighting, and generous storage for toys and craft supplies, it creates a comfortable and engaging environment for children.<\/p>\n<p>The Encompass Mental Health team uses the MTU to host therapy sessions at local elementary schools during the school day, eliminating the need for families to travel for therapy appointments. Research shows that reducing logistical barriers such as transportation challenges, time constraints, and scheduling conflicts significantly increases participation in mental health services, improving outcomes for children and families.
